I apologise for the dearth of posts recently; I’ve been a bit busy and haven’t had the energy. In particular, I’ve been closely following a lot of the ongoing discussion about Elliot Rodger and the UCSB shooting (which I wrote about here) and it’s taken a lot out of me, especially where discussing and thinking about issues of toxic masculinity are concerned (which has made it difficult to progress with the Homecoming shred, though I intend getting back to that as soon as I can).
And in addition to that, there was a death in the family last week, which was unfortunately rather sudden.
For the rest of this week I’ll be at the national convention of the American Humanist Association in Philadelphia, which means I probably won’t be posting again until next week or so. If any of our readers will be there (low odds, I know), please do let me know and look for me if you so desire.
